CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO SERVE ON THE EWSETA ACCOUNTING AUTHORITY

The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) is a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act (1998) as amended; to advance skills levels in the energy and water services sector, in accordance with the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) Ill. The EWSETA sub-sectors include Electricity; Renewable Energy; Oil and Gas; Nuclear; Collection, Purification and Distribution of Water; Waste and Sewage Services and Refuse and Sanitation Services;

The EWSETA, on behalf of the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr. BE Nzimande, hereby invites nominations for the appointment of suitably qualified persons to serve as members of the EWSETA Accounting Authority for the term starting from 1 April 2018.

Nominations are invited from relevant Organised Labour, Organised Employers and categories of role players in the sector referred to in section 11 (2)(b) of the Act, with interests in the EWSETA sub-sectors.
