STATEMENT OF RESULTS AND CERTIFICATION
Statement of Results are issued by EWSETA, as the relevant Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) for the qualification against which the unit standards are registered.
Certification is formal recognition of a learner having successfully completed a learning programme. EWSETA only issues certificates for EWSETA registered Learnerships. Certificates for Artisans are issued by the National Artisan Moderation Body (NAMB).
Learnership Certificate: The quality assurance of learner achievements ends with the endorsement process. The recommendations from the provider in relation to learner achievements are endorsed by the QAC through the process of external moderation in terms of its certification process.
Artisan Certificate: On the successful completion of a trade test, the trade test centre will issue the trade test report, which will be forwarded to the SETA to apply for the trade certificate through NAMB.
Trade Test Applications
An apprenticeship is a learning programme implemented by the EWSETA, with the EWSETA mandated by NAMB to be the quality assurance body for energy and water related trades. A trade test is the final step a learner takes to becoming a fully-fledged apprentice.
