The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA) has a critical mandate to build an educated, skilled and capable workforce in the energy and water sector to ensure access to job opportunities, improve productivity and drive inclusive economic participation. As the skills development authority for the energy and water sectors, EWSETA in collaboration with its numerous stakeholders, has an important role to play in the future of these critical sectors.

For decades, the water and energy sectors have traditionally been the domain of men. But now more than ever, women have an important role to play in ensuring access to energy and water for all. In addition, the lack of access to energy, water and sanitation are issues that impact women directly.

The EWSETA, in partnership with the Water Research Commission, WITS University, Bambili Energy and AquaAir, is hosting a webinar where guests will be given the opportunity to meet women leaders in our sector who are dynamic, influential, trailblazers and making an important contribution to these sectors.
