Work Exposure for Unemployed Graduates.

WATER GEP FUNDED PROGRAMME: PROVIDING WORK EXPOSURE TO UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES

The Water Research Commission (WRC) and the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) have partnered to develop a short-term programme to support the employability of graduates who have the passion and ability to contribute towards the water and sanitation (and linked) sectors in South Africa across multiple disciplines.

Water sector partners are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to supervise, mentor and guide unemployed graduates for a 4-month period whilst capacitating their teams and projects. The WRC has sourced graduates across multiple disciplines who are keen to support water sector projects.

The programme kicks-off in January 2021. Please log your interest by clicking through to the following link – Mentor/Supervise/Host

Closing date for EOIs:  17:00, Friday 15th January 2021. For more information, please review documents as attached below or contact Dr Chantal Ramcharan-Kotze – watergep@wrc.org.za or call 060 529 1305
